Bangkok Day 3

~Day 3~

Chatuchak Weekend Market
MBK
Chinatown

As usual, we woke up at 7.30am in the morning followed by our breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

There are around five to six thousand stall selling all sort of goods. There are areas of the market where there are clean toilets, restaurants and ATMs. Chatuchak Market has and endless selection of food and drinks stalls on almost every alley or corner.
We stopped by to get a drink whenever we felt thirtsy.

It is not much crowd early in the morning. At noon the crowd started to come in. After 4pm it became worst. Whenever you reach a cross-junction of lanes, you really do get a sense of being in a chaotic human traffic jam. It can get quite frustrating with everybody pushing and shoving here and there.

We had western food for lunch. We ordered their pork chop, chicken chop, longan and fruit punch juice. After lunch we continue to shop again We have yet to cover all the stalls. I think not even half of it.

Our still life drawing at the corner of the market.

We left the market at about 5pm because most stalls started to close and we took the cab back to hotel. We rest for about an hour, freshen up before we took the cab out to MBK followed by Chinatown for dinner again. We love their excellent and fresh food as well as their outdoor street life.

Dear bought his additional new luggage at MBK shopping mall.

We ordered their glass bottles of coke, steamed fish, big prawns, shark fins and fried oysters with egg. The oysters is twice the size we had in Singapore It has a lot of flour added to it but it is much too oily. We couldn't able to finish up our food. The bill come up to a total of only S$37. It is much more cheaper as compared to Singapore.

We went back to hotel after dinner to pack our luggage.

Our buy from Chatuchak Weekend Market and MBK.
