Bintan Lagoon Day 1
(21-01-2010)
It was the best to go during weekdays because it was less crowded!
I shall not reveal what is it~
On board the ferry.
Bintan island is about one hour ferry ride away from Singapore.
Two way transfers between hotel and ferry terminal will be provided.
The reception and lobby area.
Upon arriving at the Bintan Lagoon Resort, we were greeted by a group of dancers performing their traditional dance.
We had our light lunch at the Horizon Cafe after we have check in.
Big D/S sandwich with fresh and raw salmons, lettuces, tomatos and sour cream sauce.
The bill came out to a total of S$20.57.
Our room number.
The room was complete with a queen size bed, a day bed raised on a platform, TV, fridge, writing desk, closet, bathroom with a tub and a balcony that overlook the beach.
The view from our balcony.
We bought bottled coke, bottled mineral water, cup noodles and tibits from Singapore as it will be triple the price in Bintan.
The exterior of Bintan Lagoon Resort.
We are taking a stroll along the beach to enjoy the cool breeze.

There are two big swimming pools located in Bintan Lagoon Resort.
Dear bought the Raspberry and Vanilla Absolute Vodka from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. He love to collect different favours and edition of it.
Nelayan Surf & Turf Grill House.
It was a lovely restaurant, decorated with tiki torches. It was a quiet and romantic area for couples to dine in.
The grill and chinese surf and turf menu.
While waiting for main course, we were given the complimentary garlic bread.
Apart from the main dishes and beverages, everything else is served buffet style.
We helped ourselves with salad, soup and appetizers.
My medium rare Lamb Chop that comes with sweet corn, baked potato and vegetables.
Dear's medium rare sirlon steak that comes with sweet corn, garlic rice and vegetables.
We had cakes, dessert and cut fruits after the sinful dinner.
The bill came up to a total of S$104.06.
Late at night, we indulged ourselves in a relaxing bubble bath with a warm aroma of lavender and masks. It was a good form of distress.
