Univeristy of Ireland, Dublin offered by Kaplan

I have been visiting forums and asking the people around me for suggestions about recognition of degree programmes and course structures. In the end, I have shortlisted three. Either RMIT offered by SIM, University of London offered by PSB Academy or University of Ireland, Dublin offered by Kaplan.

No doubt, RMIT offered by SIM have stricter admission criteria. They can only accept a local polytechnics diploma. For your info, mine is a private diploma from PSB Academy.

For University of London offered by PSB Academy, it is considered the most reputable among the external degree programme and it is a three years direct honours. But they are 100% exams based with no projects and their exams is on a yearly basis.

For University of Ireland, Dublin offered by Kaplan, it is ranked the top 100th in the world with direct honours and triple accreditation - AACSB, EQUIS and EMBA. But it is a very intensive course which is why it can be completed in 18 months with no breaks in between.

After much consideration and discussion, I have decided to choose University of Ireland, Dublin over University of London based on their course structures and the length of study. Hopefully I have made the right choice. In the working world, beside obtaining a degree, your working experiences and your working attitude is very important too.

I am delighted that University of Ireland, Dublin has offered me a place for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Management (Business), 37th intake commencing in April 2010! It is approximately two months away from now and I hope I am able to pass my driving test and obtain my driving license between this period.
