Shokudo is a new Japanese restaurant at the Raffles City that has adopted the Marche and Village concept. If you are a fan of marche or Village, chances are you would love shokudo japanese food bazaar. Shokudo shares the similar concept of having several cooking stations under one roof, but with japanese cuisine instead. It was located at the new basement extension of raffles city shopping centre. Upon entering the restaurant, everyone is given a card that they will have to charge all their purchases to.
The most interesting thing about Shokudo is the design of the restaurant. Each section of the restaurant has its own unique Japanese theme. I spotted a kids corner, an anime corner, a traditional Japanese corner, and a Sakura corner. There’s also neoprint machines in the restaurant!

We are able to find the rosti here too, which is a signature potato dish at marche.
There were so many choices and everything looked tempting to me!

The dish is served popiah-style, with the omelette wrapped around the ingredients such as mushroom and cheese and cut into different segments. delicious mayonnaise is then drizzled generously over it.

I LOVE THIS THE MOST!
I’m going back to shokudo soon just to get a taste of the omelette again!

There are quite a few more items we have yet to try, and would probably give it a shot again. If you choose the right stuff to eat, you’d probably get a good deal out of it.

My new HTC touch.
Dear bought the handphone strap for me at The Dotz located at Raffles City with his and my chinese name engraved onto it.
