'Mr Punch Restaurant & Winebar, was formally known as Mint Cafe. Though the location and capacity of the restaurant remains unchanged, the entire concept, decor and menu has been overhauled. Gone are the days of cartoon movie posters lining the walls of the basement restaurant. Today, Mr Punch would give people a unique sense of nostalgia that is hard to replicate elsewhere in Singapore. Decked on the walls are countless vintage enamel signs of brands that people would have fond memories of, such as Sinalco, Carlsberg, OXO, HMV, Lakerol, Quacker Oats and many more...'

''Mint is an acronym for "Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys".
A seven storeys award-winning contemporary building hidden among a row of shop houses on Seah Street. Mint Museum of Toys is the world's first purpose-built museum for toys. It is located opposite the great old dame, Raffles Hotel and on the same street as Naumi Boutique Hotel. This toy museum boasts a collection of over 50,000 pieces of vintage toys, enamel signs and lithographed tin containers from over 40 countries but only 7,000 pieces are on display at any one time due to space constraints. The collection is regarded as one of the finest in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia. Also within the same building are Mr Punch basement Restaurant and Mr Punch rooftop Winebar.''

In the evening, we meet up with Darren and Felicia for Seoul Garden dinner at Bugis Junction. The first thing that disappoint us is the bad customer service. Its is hard to get the staffs attention and our table is lack of soup ladle and spoons. The standard of food has dropped and the soup was bland. It is not exactly worth the money we paid for.

It was nice catching up with them and chit-chatting about how things have been! Let's arrange for another meet-up session soon~
