''A 121-room boutique resort on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, Amara Sanctuary Resort has uniquely retained elements of Singapore’s colonial architectural heritage, and combined this with contemporary design, a tropical landscape and a modern, casual yet elegant style. The resort offers luxurious accommodation, several innovative dining concepts, a gym, a unique concept spa, a state-of-the-art pillarless ballroom that can host large-scale meetings and events, and an all-purpose-built glass pavilion.''

''The Glass Pavilion is furnished with stylish transparent Philippe Starck-designed ‘Louis Ghost Chairs’ and can seat up to 40 guests or provide standing room for up to 60 guests. Adding to its charm is an antique bell and a waterfall that serves as a picturesque backdrop to the pavilion.''

We were deciding what to have for dinner, and we chanced upon The Wave House Bar and Restaurant located at the Siloso beach. We went to check out their menu, and they serve a wide variety of food. While we are dining, we can also enjoy the unique and thrilling surfing actions just right outside the restaurant.

''Enjoy New California Asian Cuisine, prepared by talented chefs, while immersed in the picturesque backdrop of beach culture. Dishes such as the Lap Chiong Pasta, Cured Salmon with Ginger & Star Anise or even the Seafood Pasta with our special Cashew Nut-Cilantro Pesto are some of the amazing culinary experiences available at the restaurant. A perfect place for lunch, dinner or just a light snack.''
