The activities we will be be doing at Krabi, Thailand

Hot Spring in Klong Thom
''The water here comes from the thermal springs, originating deep underground in volcanic chambers. It is located in the jungle, it features naturally, hollowed-out 'bathtubs' in the smooth stone, filled to the brim with running spring water at a pleasant 35-40 celsius.''

''The mineral salts contained in the water are said to ease a number of ailments, including rheumatism, sciatica and skin complaints.''

Wat Tham Seua (Tiger Cave Temple)
''It is a small temple built inside a long shallow limestone cave, surrounded by natural forest. The temple, one of the south's most famous mediation centres, takes its name from a stone formation nearby which resembles a tiger's claw.''
''Two staircases wind up the the limestone cliffs. The first one leads with 1,237 steps to the top of the mountain offering a superb 360 degree view and is definitely worth a try. Reaching the top will reward you with an incredible view of a huge sitting Buddha, a golden pagoda and a few small constructions. The second one with 130 steps leads into a valley where the monks live in simple huts.''

Elephant Trekking

''The elephant is seen as a symbol of the nation and a talisman for the Thai people. A trek will allow you to experience this first hand as well as the animals forest environment. It is usually an hour's ride on the elephant, combined with another sightseeing activity.''

Snorkeling at Maya Bay and Phi Phi Island
''These islands are well known as diving and snorkeling paradises. They are shallow with crystal clear water and spendid coral formations.''
If time permits, I would love to visit James Bonds Island and Bamboo Island!

Whitewater Rafting
''It is available year round, though the rainy season, from June to November, is by far the best time to go. Enjoy non stop, action packed wave crashing, white water rafting river adventure.''

Sea Kayaking / Canoeing
''Krabi's shoreline is dotted with caves, mangroves and beaches - all harbouring a wealth of marine, animal and plant life.''
''For a close and leisurely look, there is no better option than to spend a day or few hours in a sea kayak (or sea canoe) which can be hired in most tourist locations in the area, along with experienced guides if needed.''

Krabi Night Market

''There are two popular night markets. One on Maharaj Soi 8 just around the corner from Thaimit Tours and the other on the river front at Khongkha Road. A night market in Krabi town consisting of several stalls. It's out in the open by the roadside.''

Do let me know if there are activities not to be miss!!
